We have a makeover of this playroom to a nursery room a month before birth of Xavy and I guess it is time for a room tour ~

Exterior of the nursery room still remain unchanged, I haven’t sorted out the ideas to re-design the look.

The room is built with lots of windows and a transparent sliding door, we covered the windows with some cafe curtains.

Helper and baby Xavy share this room ‚Äď helper in the bed and baby Xavy in the crib. We didn’t paint the wall as we knew we can bring in so much color with the toys and accessories.

It is also playroom for Zaanse and we bought some storage units from IKEA STUVA series. The bench serves double-duty function as it can help to keep the messy toys inside and it also serve as a sitting bench.

All the toys are lying on top of the bench.

The crib is placed at the corner angle which helps to open up the space for the Zaanse to run around.

We like these colourful baskets from IKEA which are hanging on the crib wall. All the baby stuffs are put inside the baskets and make things accessible.

The build-in shelves are full with toys and I think it is also a good idea to display the colourful toys for children instead of hiding them.

Some of the photos of Xavy are pasted on the board.

Elmo series are displayed on the window shelves.
