Halloween is just around the corner… While I’m scratching my head for Halloween recipes, we received the GRÖNSAKSBULLAR Veggie Balls from IKEA. The veggie balls definitely is one the best ideas for children friendly Halloween recipes! As a parent, we all know that it isn’t always easy to get kids to eat vegetables. These veggie balls which made with chick peas, green peas, carrots, corn, kale, and red bell peppers, for sure is a good option to attract the kids to eat them.
Zaanse was pretty excited for the Halloween Brunch Party, she can’t wait to see the live cooking show.
The ingredients we prepared for Halloween Brunch include IKEA GRÖNSAKSBULLAR Veggie Balls, eggs, rosemary, cherry tomatoes, blueberries, yogurt and IKEA PAJ OST Cheese pie.
The cooking direction was pretty simple, you can either bake the veggie balls using oven or use the saucepan. We opted for the latter. We bring the butter to a simmer and add as many veggie balls as will fit comfortably in the pan and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes to make sure all veggie balls are cooked evenly.
And it’s done!

The kids have put on their halloween constume and ready for brunch party!
It’s time for us to try out the healthy veggie balls brunch too! The veggie balls were surprisingly savory and tasted good, I can taste the spices and veggies inside it. And they are filling too!
