Two weeks ago, I signed-up the Small Spaces Blog Train which is to share the small spaces catered mainly for our kids. Since I have already shared baby Xavy’s nursery room and Zaanse toddler shared bedroom sometime ago … this time I decided to write about this little corner in living hall where the children play together. For baby safety purpose, we have laid the floor with foam playmat. And now it become one of the favourite place for baby Xavy and Zaanse to hang around, including the platform beside the balcony.
This was where Zaanse painted her train rail with daddy Kenji.
And playing with her new colorful train rails.
It was also where she planted her first cherry tomatoes.
The platform was always the corner for Zaanse to play her toys such as the mini blocks.
Zaanse built the house for snails at this cozy space too!
She also invited her playground kakis for masak-masak at home and this was where they played!
The balcony was always her haircut corner.
While for baby Xavy, this small space was definitely his territory where he sucked his finger together with his giraffe leg :p
This corner already become another playroom where the children played together in day and night ~

Up next in the Small Spaces series is Evelyn at The Bottomsup Blog. Evelyn is a freelance writer and stay-home mom of two. Her previous home was renovated in two weeks on a tight budget; she picked colours, tiles, and furniture on a whim and it didn’t occur to her to think about a cohesive look, or what she wanted her home to represent. But thanks to Apartment Therapy and other DIY blogs and magazines, her current home reflects her family’s aspirations towards a fun and creative life.
