Happy Easter twenty sixteen! We have a great weekend at Botanic Garden for the DIY Easter Eggs Hunt with Zaanse and Xavy.
Can’t remember if we have brought Zaanse to Botanic Garden before but this is definitely Xavy’s first time.
The kids are so excited especially Zaanse, she was looking forward for the eggs hunting when I told her few days ago.
This was the last minute plan which I thought to do a DIY Easter Eggs Hunt and we even have no time to buy the easter eggs.
Zaanse is so excited to see the swans .. Too bad, I was not able to capture the swans with the kids.
Let’s explore the great spot for picnic + eggs hunting.
And yes, we found it … Let’s picnic under the big tree!
This is captured when I lied down on the picnic mat … the view is nice!
We didn’t spend time on preparing the breakfast, we decided to buy the breakfast from the bakery shops.
Time for fuel up the energy before eggs hunting.
Daddy Kenji started to hide all the eggs.
Easter Eggs Hunt game is started… Well, we used the eggs which Zaanse used to collect when she is just 1 year old. Daddy Kenji used to buy for her from the Indian mamak stall.
It’s Xavy’s first time … Zaanse first easter egg hunt was done in Australia, she was a lucky girl.
Wow, another egg again and my basket is already full!
Time to count the eggs …
One, two, three, four, five …
We put some colour papers inside the eggs, green paper is to exchange for grapes while pink paper is to exchange for strawberry.
Instead of using chocolate, we replaced with fruits … healthier version for kids.
Another round of easter eggs hunt, Xavy was able to do it by himself.
Let’s count again for the eggs and exchange for gifts.
Nice to see the sister and brother play together ~
Zaanse always like to kiss her brother, or hold her brother hands.
Well, the boy seem tiring .. it’s time to go for brunch in Food for Thought. We have a great time today!
