Few weeks before Easter Day, I already began to explore Easter Day events such as Easter Egg decoration workshop or Eggs Hunting for Zaanse . Unfortunately, all are fully booked so I decided to DIY a mini Easter Eggs Hunt at the playground for her.
I started to collect the ideas of easter eggs hunt in pinterest but most are either using the real eggs or chocolates which are not my flavours. I decided to make our own egg “cards” which involved some crafting by Zaanse. Daddy Kenji helped me to cut out some kraft cards in egg shape and then Zaanse can start to decorate with colours and stickers.
She very concerntrated and focus while pasting the stickers to the easter egg cards.
Next day morning, we continued to decorate the remaining of easter egg cards.
I introduced additional crafting stuffs such as stamps to create more funs for Zaanse.
Finally, all the 50 pcs easter egg cards are done.
On the actual day morning, we decorated the shelter with buntings and flowers.
I also baked some cupcakes for the children and designed a set of cupcake toppers in easter egg shape.
Do you like the easter egg toppers I designed? Check out the last picture below for free printout.
Zaanse looked excited when we brief her how to play the easter egg hunt game.
Lets go and pick the eggs.
